A Shared History

From its very first prototype, every Flight Sail has been built at the Ezzy Factory in Sri Lanka — a place known for precision, passion, and unmatched quality. Founders Björn, Bart, and José had one clear mission: to create sails that deliver top-tier performance, using the finest materials and craftsmanship available. With the mentorship of David Ezzy, that mission became reality. During this collaboration, José Fernandez, the Flight Sails designer, formed a strong partnership with David Ezzy. Impressed by José’s talent and vision, David invited him to join Ezzy full-time. Together, they developed the first-ever wing produced at the Sri Lanka factory — the Ezzy Flight Wing V1. Now, with the Zorro’s unique design and loyal following, the natural next step was to officially bring it into the Ezzy lineup for 2026.

What’s New for 2026 Larger Window for Better Visibility The 2026 Zorro features a redesigned window that’s significantly larger than before. Previously located between the third and fourth battens, the new window extends further for clearer vision and improved safety. Enhanced Rigging Features The new Zorro includes the Ezzy tack strap with ruler, a larger mast foot protector, and the precision downhaul and outhaul system. These thoughtful details — familiar to Ezzy fans — make tuning your sail effortless and ensure perfect performance in all conditions. New Colorways The Ezzy Zorro will be available in Yellow/White and Red/White, combining timeless Ezzy quality with vibrant, modern looks. A New Chapter Begins The Ezzy Zorro marks the evolution of the beloved Flight Sails design — keeping its spirit alive while embracing the innovation and quality that Ezzy is known for worldwide.
